FIBER IN METAL TUBES
Universal Cable (USC)
An All-Purpose Solution: Buried Fiber Optic Cable
The optical fibers within the Universal Cable are encapsulated in a stainless-steel tube, ensuring maximum optical performance. The steel stranding wires and plastic sheath provide reliable resistance to mechanical stress and other external influences.
The all-purpose design of the Universal Cable makes it equally suitable for both aerial and direct-buried fiber optic cable installations. It’s also a perfect fiber optic solution for rapid deployment. There’s a wide range of available accessories, such as fittings, optical components, and fixing parts.
