This version of a Triple Stranded Construction is especially designed for vertical installation purposes in harsh environments, where a high tensile strength is needed. This cable comes up with a design, where the three inner elements are stranded along with a smooth pitch, allowing the fibers inside the FIMT to hold their place while gravity wants to elongate or break them during hanging applications. An additional layer of stranding wires made of a highly anti-corrosive steel grade allows using this product in flexible applications even in aggressive environments. Due to high-precision in the manufacturing processes, this cable design can be combined with additional layers of compact metal sheets for even more tensile strength or hydrostatic pressure ratings.
